Before becoming a sports agent, Mark Fretta competed as an athlete, appearing on the U.S. Elite World Championship Team for the triathlon for seven years between 2002 to 2011. As a resident National Triathlon Team Member at the U.S. Olympic Training Center, he frequently undertook promotional and speaking duties on behalf of the U.S. Olympic Committee, appearing at over 50 press events and charity benefits.
